About this clinic

Camillus Health Concern, Inc. (CHC) is sponsored by the Brothers of the Good Shepherd, under the auspices of the United States Catholic Church, and has been a leader in providing primary health care services to persons in Miami-Dade County who are homeless or have low income.
CHC has been a Health Care for the Homeless grantee through the Department of Health and Human Services' Bureau of Primary Health Care since 1989 and was designated as a Federally Qualified Health Center in 1996.

Oral Health Services provides preventive and basic services, including:


  • dental hygiene and education

  • temporary restorations (fillings)

  • gum treatment

  • x-rays

  • extractions



CHC has an affiliation with the University of Florida College of Dentistry for the training of dental residents.

Following the teachings and example of Jesus Christ, the mission of Camillus House is to provide Christian hospitality and respect for life through direct services of food, clothing, shelter, addiction counseling, behavioral health and job training, and health care to the poor and homeless of South Florida. We join in faith to facilitate the unfolding of God's providential plan in every aspect of our organization. Our readiness to meet the complex needs and concerns of our homeless population identifies us as a mission of hope.

    I've been to this clinic.I had a cleaning. This clinic was completely free. The staff was friendly. I waited less than 1 hour They did a good job and were very supportive and friendly. God bless them.
