Hey my name is April Odom, and I’m 32yrs old. I live in Wesson,Ms. I’m desperately in need of dental work. Financially I can’t afford dental care right now . Im unable to work due to a auto accident. I do not receive any kind of assistance and I do not have dental insurance. I’m asking, hoping begging and praying you could help me get the dental care I need where I can smile and have a normal life. I can’t explain how much it would mean to me and relieve some mental and physical pain if I get my teeth fixed . We recently found out my mom has stage 3 lung cancer that is inoperable. She keeps telling me she wants a recent picture of me smiling. I can’t do it right now. My teeth are horrible, I don’t even leave my house unless I have too because I’m always worried about what people will say or do if they see my teeth. It hurts when people make fun of me. When I’m talking to someone I try my hardest not to let my teeth show a lot of times I will look at the floor when talking to people. Earlier this year I went to see a dentist to see how much it would cost to get the dental work I need. I left there crying the dentist told me how disgusting my teeth were. I try to avoid mirrors so I can’t see my teeth. My teeth impact every part of my life. I have cavities, holes in teeth, teeth breaking, sensitive and pain discolored teeth. I have to avoid eating certain food. Like I said earlier I know it’s a long shot but, I’m praying you can help me. Here is a little information about my life that has caused some dental issues. 2016- 2017 I had to take lupron ( Chemo) injections for stage 4 endometriosis. I had to get chemo injections for a year, and it didn’t help my endometriosis. Lupron has ruined my teeth. My teeth are soft, brittle I have cavities and I have holes in some of my teeth include a front tooth. I’m constantly in pain because of my teeth. It’s very hard for me to eat. It does not matter what food I try. My teeth will hurt so bad I’m almost in tears. In August 2018 I had my wreck. I fractured my spine in multiple places. Some of the fractures have not healed yet. The worse vertebrae fracture is L5 it is a compression fracture.I’m going to have to a spinal fusion surgery to heal the vertebrae that are not healing. Also I had 2 brain injuries, fractured my right leg, torn my acl and meniscus in my right knee. I’m very blessed to be alive and able to walk. I can not explain just how grateful I am that you took your time to read this. Please help me!
