Hi, my name is Crystal. I have not had dental insurance until recently, in July my employer switched insurance companies which cause my rates to go up so since then my funds have been limited. I tried a consultation at aspen dental they told me I needed a couple crowns, a bridge and maybe a couple root canals. They said my total cost would be around 3 grand something like that, but the day I had my consultation I was supposed to get my dental plan it took me calling them for 3 weeks to get it. When they finally called me back after 3 weeks of calling they had me come in to sign paperwork for financing, I was not approved because of my credit score which is something I am currently working on , which is another reason my funds are tight at the moment. To set up my next appt they wanted me to be able to come up with 700 dollars. I told them I was unable to do that, so they didn't set me up an appt. Recently I have been experiencing very bad mouth pain, even when I drink water pain shoots through the right side of my mouth. I called into them to see if there was anything they could do to help me or refer me to someone that could but I was told there was nothing they could do. The reason I am telling you all this is because I have work that needs to be done, badly, but I need a dentist office willing to work with me. I'm renting a home in Delmar and when I moved here it was 4 of us I had all my bills figured out at that time but roommates have come and gone and my insurance went up, and well the payment arrangements I set up to take care of my credit well now it makes things a little tight for me because we are less a person's income. I really need this dental work done and I really need to find a dentist that will make some sort of payment arrangements with me because they told me my gums were pretty bad too and the longer I have to go not being able to afford getting it done the worse it is going to get. I am reaching out to anyone I can to see if there is any office around that can help me and not turn their back on emergency situations because of my income. I let myself go a few years ago after the death of my dad and that's my own fault but I want to fix this I cannot deal with the pain, it just hurts too friggin bad I am ready to start taking care of myself better but it's hard finding somewhere that won't turn me away because i cannot be approved for fianancing I have dental insurance and I am well aware that i'll have out of pocket expenses I just need an office that's understanding and willing to work with people who don't have a big income. Please could you let me know if there is anything you could do to help me?
