Volunteers in Medicine Dental Clinic Hilton Head Dental Policy:







All patients must have their registration up-to-date in order to make a medical or dental appointment. Must be rescreened every year. All first-time patients should schedule an introductory appointment for dental cleaning, x-rays and a check-up. You must pay a $10 deposit when you make this appointment, which will be refunded when you come for your scheduled appointment. Volunteers in Medicine provides free health care services to those residents of Hilton Head and/or Daufuskie Islands who earn less than 200% of federal poverty guidelines and who have no access to health care or health insurance.







TO QUALIFY FOR CARE AT VIM, YOU MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:







You or a member of your immediate family (parent, spouse, adult child) living in the same household must reside or work on Hilton Head or Daufuskie Islands You must be a resident for a minimum of 3 months in order to be eligible for services VIM does not provide care for individuals whose injuries/conditions are covered by Worker's Compensation. Your family income must be less than 200% of Federal Poverty Guidelines (for example: Single adult's gross monthly income cannot exceed $1,815). You must have no usable medical insurance.

    Hello. thank you for what you do. I am in Beaufort which disallows me for your program. Please, is there a similar clinic for the north beaufort county. I have two teeth that are broken, one gum level...Im starting to worry about blood infection...they've been like this for a bit. everytime you get close to having $100.00 something comes up...this was wheel bearings turn. lol. please let me know...at least what you think that work is going to cost me. i'm afraid 100 is a drop in the bucket.
